Abstract
This study explores strategies for aligning teaching content with curriculum specifications to enhance engagement and academic performance among construction students. In vocational and technical education, particularly in construction-related disciplines, there is often a disconnect between the theoretical components of the curriculum and practical industry applications. This paper examines methods of contextualizing theoretical topics within real-world construction scenarios, using specification documents as a foundation for lesson planning, assessment design, and skills development.
