Annotatsiya. Maqolada tanqidiy fikrlash va motivatsiya tushunchasi,shuningdek tanqidiy fikrlash asosida o‘quvchilar tashqi motivatsiyasini shakllantirishning ahamiyati va uning kelib chiqish tarixi va ta’lim jarayonidagi ahamiyati tahlil etilgan. Shuningdek, tanqidiy fikrlashning ta’lim jarayonidagi samaradorligi, hamda tashqi motivatsiyaning o‘quvchilar bilim olishidagi o‘rni ochib berilgan. Maqolada motivatsiyaning ta’lim tizimidagi o‘rni va istiqbollari yoritilgan.

Abstract. The article analyzes the concepts of critical thinking and motivation, as well as the importance of forming students' external motivation based on critical thinking, its history, and its significance in the educational process. It also reveals the effectiveness of critical thinking in the educational process and the role of external motivation in students' knowledge acquisition. The article highlights the role and prospects of motivation in the education system

Аннотация. В статье анализируются понятия критического мышления и мотивации, а также значение формирования внешней мотивации учащихся на основе критического мышления, история его возникновения и значение в образовательном процессе. Также раскрывается эффективность критического мышления в образовательном процессе и роль внешней мотивации в приобретении знаний учащимися. В статье освещены роль и перспективы мотивации в системе образования.
