Methods for automating and assessing the use of natural pastures and the monitoring of land resources

This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the current eco-geobotanical state of natural pastures in the subarid and arid climate of the Aral Sea region, in particular the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the causes of their degradation and integrated mechanisms for improving the efficiency of their use. The study presents scientific and practical proposals for restoring the forage potential of pastures on the Ustyurt Plateau and in the Southern Aral Sea region, for phytomelioration measures and for regulating grazing pressure using geographic information systems (GIS) and satellite data (NDVI), as well as the results of an economic and ecological assessment.

В данной статье всесторонне проанализированы современное эколого-геоботаническое состояние естественных пастбищ в субаридных и аридных климатических условиях Приаралья, в частности Республики Каракалпакстан, причины их деградации, а также комплексные механизмы повышения эффективности их использования. В исследовании приведены научно-практические предложения по восстановлению кормового потенциала пастбищ на плато Устюрт и в Южном Приаралье, фитомелиоративным мероприятиям, регулированию пастбищной нагрузки с помощью геоинформационных систем (ГИС) и спутниковых данных (NDVI), а также результаты экономико-экологической оценки.

Ushbu maqolada Orolbo‘yi mintaqasining, xususan, Qoraqalpog‘iston Respublikasining subarid va arid iqlim sharoitida tabiiy yaylovlarning hozirgi eko-geobotanik holati, degradatsiyaga uchrash sabablari hamda ulardan foydalanish samaradorligini oshirishning kompleks mexanizmlari atroflicha tahlil qilingan. Tadqiqotda Ustyurt platosi, Janubiy Orolbo‘yi hududlaridagi yaylovlarning ozuqabop imkoniyatlarini qayta tiklash, fitomelioratsiya tadbirlari, geoaxborot tizimlari (GIS) va sun’iy yo‘ldosh ma’lumotlari (NDVI) orqali yaylov yuklamasini tartibga solish bo‘yicha ilmiy-amaliy takliflar hamda iqtisodiy-ekologik baholash natijalari keltirilgan.
