The effect of sowing dates on the growth and yield components of sesame cultivars

The article presents the effect of sowing the sesame (Sesamum indicum L.) cultivars "Qara shahzada", "Tashkent-122" and "Sadaf" at three dates — 1 May, 10 May and 20 May — on plant growth and yield components. Seed emergence was 96–99% in all treatments and showed no appreciable dependence on sowing date. Delayed sowing increased plant height in "Qara shahzada" from 101.1 cm to 114.0 cm, while reducing the number of branches from 7 to 3 and the number of capsules per plant from 70 to 42, that is by 40%. Among the cultivars, the highest 1000-seed weight was recorded in "Tashkent-122" (3.2–3.4 g) and the highest number of seeds per capsule in "Sadaf" (117–131 seeds). In terms of the calculated conditional seed weight, the best results were obtained at the 1 May sowing date (15.04 g per plant on average).

В статье показано влияние посева сортов кунжута (Sesamum indicum L.) «Кара шахзада», «Ташкент-122» и «Садаф» в три срока — 1 мая, 10 мая и 20 мая — на рост растений и элементы структуры урожая. Всхожесть семян во всех вариантах составила 96–99 % и существенно не зависела от срока посева. Запаздывание с посевом у сорта «Кара шахзада» увеличило высоту растений с 101,1 до 114,0 см, но снизило число ветвей с 7 до 3, а число коробочек на одном растении — с 70 до 42, или на 40 %. Среди сортов наибольшая масса 1000 семян отмечена у сорта «Ташкент-122» (3,2–3,4 г), а наибольшее число семян в одной коробочке — у сорта «Садаф» (117–131 шт.). По расчётной условной массе семян лучшие результаты получены при посеве 1 мая (в среднем 15,04 г/растение).

Urug‘larning unib chiqishi barcha variantlarda 96–99 % ni tashkil etib, ekish muddatiga sezilarli bog‘liq bo‘lmadi. Ekish muddatining kechikishi «Qora shahzoda» navida o‘simlik bo‘yini 101,1 sm dan 114,0 sm gacha oshirgan, shoxlar sonini 7 tadan 3 taga, bir o‘simlikdagi ko‘saklar sonini esa 70 tadan 42 taga yoki 40 % ga kamaytirgan. Navlar bo‘yicha eng yuqori 1000 dona urug‘ massasi «Toshkent-122» navida (3,2–3,4 g), bir ko‘sakdagi urug‘lar soni esa «Sadaf» navida (117–131 dona) qayd etildi. Hisoblangan shartli urug‘ massasi bo‘yicha eng yaxshi natijalar 1-may muddatida (o‘rtacha 15,04 g/o‘simlik) olindi.
